At Riedimed you will find five therapy stools for physiotherapy, medical practices and clinics: three swivelling, height-adjustable stools on castors (ROMY with a synthetic leather seat, LUCY with an upholstered seat and backrest, SENDY with a saddle seat) and two fixed stools with a round or square seat.
Which stool for physiotherapy?
If you work around the therapy table during treatment, you need a swivelling stool on castors that moves easily and adjusts in height. The SENDY saddle stool encourages an upright sitting posture during long treatments. LUCY's backrest gives extra support when most of the work is done seated. The fixed stools are a stable seat for patients or for the examination room.
Practice stool, doctor's stool, treatment stool: what is the difference?
In everyday practice these terms usually mean the same thing: a stool without or with a small backrest on which the therapist or doctor works close to the patient. More important than the name is whether the stool should swivel, adjust in height and roll, and which seat shape suits the way you work.
