The electric Riedi Basic 2e therapy table is a simply constructed, two-segment table for massage, examination, surgery, and orthopedics on a modest budget, without giving up electric height adjustment. It is aimed at practices seeking an affordable base table with motorized height adjustment. The headrest can be raised and lowered via a gas spring and features a face opening with cover. Electric height adjustment ranges from 49 to 95 cm, operated via hand control of the electric motor; at 200 cm length, width is selectable from 65 to 85 cm, with a maximum load of 150 kg. The simple construction deliberately focuses on the most important functions, without additional special features. As a simply constructed base table, the Basic 2e suits massage practices, general examinations, and minor surgical and orthopedic applications on a moderate budget, where electric height adjustment matters more than a large number of segments. Anyone needing an additional segment will find it in the Basic 3e. A lockout box compliant with the German Medical Devices Act is included as standard: it disconnects the motor from the mains after adjustment, preventing unintended movement of the table.
