Product description

Hanning motor vs. conventional motors

Why we rely on Hanning drives for our electric therapy tables

Hanning motor

Made in Germany

Purpose-built for therapy tables, reliable, quiet, long-lasting.

Hanning linear actuator for therapy tables
  • Exceptionally durable
Built for continuous use, up to 10× longer service life.
  • Very quiet
Exceptionally smooth running, for a pleasant therapy environment.
  • High force reserve
Reliable performance even under heavy load and intensive use.
  • Maintenance-free
Sealed system, no re-greasing, no regular maintenance required.
  • Maximum safety
Overload protection plus smooth start-and-stop behaviour, tested to the highest standards.

Conventional motors

Often cheaper to buy, but more expensive to run.

Conventional linear actuator
  • Shorter service life
Not designed for continuous use, faster wear is likely.
  • Louder in operation
Higher noise levels, disruptive for therapy and patients.
  • Lower force reserve
Performance drops off under heavy load or frequent use.
  • Maintenance-intensive
Requires regular re-greasing and servicing, time-consuming and costly.
  • Higher risk
Fewer protective mechanisms, higher risk of failure and injury.
Bottom line: the Hanning motor is a sustainable investment in quality, safety, and efficiency, for smooth operation and satisfied patients.

The electric Riedi Classic 3e prima therapy table adds the upgraded "prima" equipment line to the three-segment Classic 3e construction, with additional adjustment options for physiotherapy and massage. It is thus the three-segment counterpart to the two-segment Classic 2e prima within the same equipment line. The headrest can be raised and lowered via a gas spring and features a face opening with cover; the foot section is adjustable via a click system. A single electric motor adjusts the height, operated via hand control; at 200 cm length and a width of 65 to 85 cm, the working height ranges from 52 to 87 cm. The table supports loads up to 180 kg. The click system on the foot section allows quick, stepped locking without additional tools. As standard, the table comes with a central roller lift system and 70 mm wheels. With its click-system foot section and upgraded finishing, the Classic 3e prima suits physiotherapy treatments and massage applications with somewhat higher finishing expectations than the standard Classic 3e, particularly where quick foot section adjustment is needed in daily practice. Those wanting a two-segment model in the same line will find it in the Classic 2e prima. A lock-out box compliant with the German Medical Devices Act (MPG) is included as standard: it disconnects the electric motor from the mains after adjustment, preventing unintended movement of the couch.
