The electric Riedi Comfort 5e therapy table is the five-segment top of the sturdy Comfort series, offering the finest positioning differentiation in the range for massage, surgery, and orthopedics. Compared with the two-, three-, and four-segment Comfort models, it allows the most differentiated adaptation to varying treatment scenarios. Electric height adjustment ranges from 53 to 93 cm, operated via hand control of the electric motor; at 200 cm length, width is selectable from 65 to 85 cm, with a maximum load of 180 kg. The five segments allow differentiated adjustment of the head, torso, pelvic, and leg sections, so that nearly any treatment position can be set without repositioning the patient. The central roller lift system is included as standard and does not need to be purchased separately. With its finest segment division, the Comfort 5e is particularly suited to massage, surgical, and orthopedic treatments that require precise adjustment of several body areas at once, for example examinations involving changing limb and torso positions. Those seeking a power-independent alternative with the same number of segments will find it in the hydraulic Comfort 5h. A lock-out box compliant with the German Medical Devices Act (MPG) is included as standard: it disconnects the electric motor from the mains after adjustment, preventing unintended movement of the couch.
